3. Copyright Management - reducing the risk and cutting the cost
The management of Copyright adherence and CLA (Copyright Licensing Agency) regulatory compliance has emerged as a key challenge for institutions. Accurately tracking usage of Copyright materials can be complicated and time consuming. Compliance with the requirements of Copyright licences can also have a big impact on budgets. Eduserv is exploring solutions that will help institutions track usage of Copyright materials and reduce the work load on reporting. Please contact andrew.tavener@eduserv.org.uk if Copyright Management is an issue for your institution.
4. Your data wishes
If you would like Eduserv Chest to investigate an Agreement for data that would benefit your institution, why not make a wish? Wishes are the main way for you to tell us which products we should be negotiating on your behalf.
To make a wish visit our Future Agreements section.
The agreement for ASTM Standards and Digital Library has recently been added to the Eduserv catalogue as a result of wishes from the community. A new agreement for ABI Inform Complete from Proquest is also imminent.
We continue to pursue agreements with the publisher of Internurse, and we are waiting for news from Proquest regarding a number of resources.
